August’s theme of loving life & learning, can be a challenge in these, the last days!
Elder Wakolo in his conference talk “God Loves His Children”
teaches us to look at our challenges, not as trials but as
LEARNING EXPERIENCES,
and instead of seeing our lack as weakness-we can look at it as a
DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITY.
He shared that God chastens us because he loves us. I looked up “chasten” in WebstersDictionary1828.com & my heart was touched, as I began to more clearly see that
God “chastens”, to purify us-
so we can more fully receive his love & power, & to reclaim us from
this fallen world, so we can go back home!

Friends. Don’t be afraid to ask for a hug.
Nature. God created the earth for us to enjoy.
Exercise. Release strong emotions by moving your body.
Service. Even a little “thank you” can go a long way.”
